FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diffraction gratings used in augmented reality devices. According to the method of producing a liquid crystal structure for a diffraction grating, a photoorientation placed on substrates is irradiated with polarized coherent waves, which interfere with each other, where one of said waves has spherical wave front, and other – flat. A layer of liquid crystals is placed between the substrates. Liquid crystals, getting on a photoorientation, receive orientation in accordance with orientation produced by photoorientation. To create diffraction grating, obtained structure is placed in electric field.
EFFECT: increased compactness, increased resolution.
