FIELD: monitoring devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and a method of monitoring tires on a tire production line, in particular, by obtaining images of the inner surface of the tire and their further processing, for example, to determine possible presence of detected defects on tire surface. Tire control device (1) comprises support frame (2), flange (3) and system (4) for obtaining three-dimensional images of tire surface, mounted on support frame and comprising: matrix chamber (5), a linear laser source (7) and reflecting surface (12) which crosses axis (9) of propagation of the linear laser beam and optical axis (6) of matrix chamber (5).
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining and analyzing three-dimensional images of inner surface of tire to control inner surface of tire to detect possible presence of defects on or near surface.
