SUBSTANCE: proposed device relates to antenna arrays and can be used in radars and radio communication. Adaptive antenna array with preliminary formation of beam patterns of channels, comprising emitters, a multichannel diagram-forming circuit and an adaptive processor, characterized in that the diagram-forming circuit consists of six-pole and eight-pole power dividers, wherein one input of eight-pole power dividers is used in a beam-forming circuit on a par with inputs of six-pole power dividers to form, at its main input, required in conditions of absence of external interference sources of directional pattern, and the second inputs unconnected with the first inputs of the eight-pole power dividers are connected to the adaptive processor, to which the main input of the beam-forming circuit is also connected.

EFFECT: high efficiency of the antenna array and reduced distortion of the resulting beam pattern.
