FIELD: adsorption technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for water treatment of process effluents from enterprises in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The method for purifying aqueous solutions from dimethylamine involves adsorption with activated carbon. Activated carbon is pre-treated for 24 hours with a solution of ammonium carbonate with a concentration of 2% at a ratio of the mass of carbon in grams to the volume of solution in cm3 1:100, followed by heating at a temperature of 100°C for 2 hours in air atmosphere.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of adsorption extraction of dimethylamine from wastewater.
