COMPLEX ISOLATION OF PIPELINE WELD JOINT AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F16L59/20 

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction of pipelines and is intended for insulation of welded joints of pre-heat-insulated pipelines, including with external protective and weighting concrete coating. Complex insulation contains heat-insulating segments 3 installed and fixed above anticorrosion coating 4 of welded joint 1 and sealing compound in gaps between anticorrosion coating 4 of welded joint 1, heat-insulating segments 3 and end faces of pipeline coatings. Sealing polyurethane 5 is used as a sealing compound. Sealing material is laid on the external surface of the pipeline coating along the edges of casing 6. Method comprises: in zone of weld joint 1, above anticorrosive coating 4, heat insulation segments 3 are installed and fixed, on top of which, in circumferential direction, with a process gap, casing 6 is installed and fixed, through pouring holes 11 of which pouring polyurethane 5 is poured.

EFFECT: technical result is increased thermal insulation, improved reliability of waterproofing, protection against multidirectional mechanical effects of anticorrosion and thermal insulation of welded joint of pipes and pipe material, increased elastic-deformation properties of welded joint zone due to its reinforcement.
