FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to the field of manufacturing pre-insulated pipes with heat insulation, made of polyurethane foam (PUF), designed for pipe heating systems, gas and oil pipelines in a protective envelope from zinc-coated steel and steel with external polyethylene coating. The group of inventions declares two embodiments of the set of flanges. In the first embodiment, the flange bodies are made of a polymeric material with a high-density, a low heat conductivity and a heat capacity, as which PA6B polyamide can be used in the claimed device. According to the second embodiment the flange bodies are welded and include a steel base and shell, eye lugs for flange removal, located along the perimeter of the shell, with a hole and loop for a hoisting device, and the base includes a ring of polymer material with low heat conductivity and heat capacity. The ring of heat-insulation polymer material, excluding the contact of PUF with metal parts of the body, is cast and attached on the inner surface of the body, contacting with PUF. As such material, polyurethane can be used, while the thickness of the heat-insulated ring must be at least 10 mm, the bodies of the flange set are manufactured with finish of the inner surface of the body of non-metallic material (first embodiment) or the surface of the heat-insulation ring (second embodiment) of no more than Ra 6.3.

EFFECT: development of the set of filling flanges, used in waterproofing and heat insulating polyurethane foam pipes, designed to make the manufacturing process of pre-insulated pipes easier, reduce production waste, reduce the cost of finished products, eliminate the need for additional activities for the restoration of the market condition of PUF ends of the insulation after removing the flanges, prevent the outer layer of polyurethane foam from damage on the face ends of the heat-insulation layer, exclude the damage to the epoxy coating in the process of applying insulation polyurethane foam to pipes with epoxy coating, eliminate the reduction of physical and mechanical properties of the outer layer of polyurethane foam on the face ends of the insulation because of increasing fragility when transferring heat to the metal flanges and provide for their multiple application in the technological process of applying insulation polyurethane foam.
