FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining metrological characteristics of a dummy during verification (primary or periodic) using a water weighing method. Measuring device with verification device includes housing, neck with water indication window and drain pipe with drain valve, at that, measuring unit is installed on vertical supports rigidly connected to platform for arrangement of reference weights, which by means of mechanism screws arrestment are connected with mounting frame containing weight sensors connected with weighing terminal with indicating means.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of primary and periodic calibration of high-precision measuring device without need for expensive equipment.
