FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely to methods of waterproofing enclosing structures of buildings, for example, such as glazing structures of facades, roofs, light lamps, atriums, especially with double-glazed units, the secondary sealing layer of which is made of material which is destroyed with direct exposure of ultraviolet radiation to it during operation of the structure, for example, polysulphide sealant. Method of waterproofing a building enclosure consisting of a frame and double-glazed units installed thereon, comprising, at least, two glazing sheets, with secondary sealing layer along perimeter, consists in the fact that seam between two adjacent double-glazed windows is filled with sealant, providing seam waterproofing and glass units fixation to each other, wherein when filling the seam with its sealant is also applied with overlapping to the sealed outer surface of the insulating glass units along the seam for a width providing covering of the secondary sealing layer of insulating glass units made from the polysulphide sealant from direct exposure of the ultraviolet radiation to the structure during operation of the structure.
EFFECT: improved reliability of waterproofing of enclosing structure of building at simultaneous provision of possibility of application of method of waterproofing in structures with double-glazed units, secondary sealing layer of which is destructed from direct action of ultraviolet radiation during operation of structure; higher reliability of the structure as a whole.
