FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigational instrument-making, in particular to methods for increasing the accuracy of georotheodolite complexes, and can be used, for example, in systems for calibrating gyroscopic observations. Method includes: performing program of calibration (reference) of N gyrotheodolites (determining N by gyrotheodolites of azimuth value a1 control direction); calculation of deviation (a1-a0) from a0 – reference azimuth value for azimuths a1, obtained by each gyrotheidolite; calculation of deviation (a1-aav) from average azimuth values for azimuths obtained by each gyrotheidolite; calculating coefficient value KN for the gyrotheideolite set under study by formula
EFFECT: high reliability of a priori estimation of accuracy of determining azimuth with a gyrotheodolite set.
