FIELD: metallurgy; mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed for improved surface of rod before drawing. Proposed device contains scale breaker, elevator for displacement of abrasive powder, working chamber, auger, vibrators, electromagnets and drives, and device for application of slashing sublayer. Mounting of auger from side of getting out of rod from working chamber permits force-feeding of abrasive powder in direction opposite to direction of rod movement. Upper part of working chamber on which vibrators are installed has vertical and horizontal splits, and it can turn around axles, thus opening access to inner space of working chamber, and at closing of working chamber, it can be pressed to working chamber, thus sealing the butt joints. Arrangement of vibrator along chamber for radial and horizontal displacements relative to working chamber makes it possible to convey vibrations directly to rod or to layer of powder adjoining rod surface. Concentrators of vibrators are provided with spherical head from side of rod elevator consists of sections, one of which is designed for transportation of abrasive mixture from working chamber, and the other, for transportation of scale from scale breaker.
EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning owing to prevention of powder pressure losses on surface of rod and wedging of rod in through channels.
