SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to create a matrix substrate and a display device. Essence of the invention is that the matrix substrate comprises: a common electrode line, a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines which intersect each other, and pixel modules specified by neighbouring gate lines and adjacent data lines, wherein each of the pixel modules comprises a pixel electrode and a common electrode, first insulating layer is arranged between the pixel electrode and the common electrode, each of the pixel modules comprises a storage electrode line, the storage electrode line and the pixel electrode at least partially overlapping, second insulating layer is placed between the storage electrode line and the pixel electrode, and the storage electrode line and the common electrode are connected to the common electrode line, respectively, region without displaying a matrix substrate has a predetermined portion in which a storage electrode contact pad is arranged, a storage electrode line is connected to the storage electrode terminal pad, and in said predetermined section common electrode line is connected to common electrode and storage electrode contact pad, respectively.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling to prevent reduction of storage capacity and enable to increase charge of pixel electrode.
