FIELD: image display devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image display devices. The matrix substrate contains a base substrate containing a plurality of pixel regions, a plurality of thin film transistors distributed in respective pixel regions, each of the thin film transistors containing an active layer disposed on the substrate; a gate electrode disposed on a base substrate, the active layer and the gate electrode being stacked one on top of the other; a source electrode located above the gate electrode, the source electrode being electrically connected to the active layer through a first through hole; a drain electrode located above the gate electrode, the drain electrode being electrically connected to the active layer through the second through hole, the drain electrode having a first portion located in the second through hole; a passivation layer located on the source and drain electrodes, a plurality of pixel electrodes distributed in the respective pixel regions, each of the pixel electrodes being electrically connected to the corresponding one of the drain electrodes through the corresponding third through hole, and the pixel electrode in each of the pixel regions contains two separate first portions located in the third through hole, and a second portion connecting the two first portions, the two first portions of the pixel electrode are on two opposite sides of the second through hole, respectively. In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a display panel comprising the above-described matrix substrate, as well as a display device comprising the display panel.
EFFECT: invention makes the work of image display devices more effective.
