FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of graphically recording stress state change on parts surface during their operation in order to investigate strength properties of said parts. Summary: performing, - in coordinate system Oστ graphical record of variation of voltages is carried out by constructing a series of Mohr circles, each of which displays a plane stress state at the point in question at successive moments; - in three-dimensional coordinate system Oστt, whose axis t is the time axis, continuous variation of the stress tensor is continuously plotted using the Mohr circles; - in three-dimensional Cartesian coordinates system Oσασβταβ at preset time intervals normal and tangential stresses acting on part surface at its considered point along any two mutually perpendicular sites are plotted, normal to which makes with the selected direction on part surface angles α and β.
EFFECT: based on the data presented therein, it is possible to obtain the most complete visual information on the change in the process of loading the part of all three components of the stress tensor at any point on its surface, on which external forces do not act and to perform a comparative analysis of the obtained diagrams, as well as evaluate the strength and fatigue resistance parts.
