SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for butt joint strip-shaped elements for tire components. Technical result is achieved by a device for butt-jointing strip-shaped elements for tire components, which comprises a first clamp and a second clamp, configured to clamp the first end of the first strip-shaped element and the second end of the second strip-shaped element, respectively. At that, the first clamp or the second clamp is movable along the butt joint direction to the butt joint, in which the first clamp and the second clamp are located opposite to each other in the said butt joint direction for connection of the first end of the first strip-shaped element and the second end of the second strip-shaped element in a direction butt joint. At that, the first clamp comprises the first upper clamping element and the first lower clamping element intended for the first end clamping during their interaction. Second clamp comprises a second upper clamping element and a second lower clamping element for clamping the second end in their interaction. At that, the first lower clamping element protrudes beyond the first upper clamping element in the butt joint direction towards the second clamp to the first overlap distance. Second upper clamping element protrudes beyond the second lower clamping element in the direction of butt joint towards the first clamp at the second overlapping distance.

EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy and quality of connection of strip-shaped elements for tire components.
