FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to liquid crystal display (LCD) panels. Panel contains: backlight source; a matrix substrate located on the backlight source; array of photosensitive devices made on a matrix substrate; a control circuit connected to a matrix of light-sensitive devices. Matrix substrate comprises "m×n" blocks of pixels, each pixel unit contains "K" blocks of subpixels; light sensor array comprises "a×b" of the photosensitive devices, and each light-sensitive device corresponds to one of the subpixel units, where m, n, K, a and b are integers greater than zero and a≤K×m and b≤n. Control circuit comprises "a" columns of data lines and "b" lines of control lines, each line of control line is connected to "a" columns of data lines through "a" switches, respectively, and each switch comprises a control terminal connected to the control line, a first connection terminal connected to the corresponding one of the photosensitive devices, and a second connection terminal connected to the corresponding data line. Matrix substrate comprises "k×m" of columns of data lines of pixels and "n" lines of control lines of pixels, each column of data line corresponds to one of "k×m" columns of a pixel data line and arranged above corresponding pixel data line, and each line of control line corresponds to one of "n" lines of pixel control lines and is arranged above corresponding pixel control line.

EFFECT: invention provides improved functionality.
