FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to relay protection and automated control systems in power engineering and is intended for implementation of functions of emergency control in electrical installation, as well as for automation of process of collecting information on state of inputs, connections and switches of control and monitoring object.
EFFECT: high reliability of receiving and transmitting information in a multiprocessor information and control system of relay protection and automation based on a passive optical network owing to arrangement of mutually reserved communication channels between devices in the system and providing interterminal information exchange in electrical installation for implementation, for example, functions of emergency control system, by transmitting and receiving information messages between synchronized devices in multiprocessor information and control system of relay protection and automation based on passive optical network.
