Heat transfer path (138; 238; 338; 438) is arranged outside cooling head (24). Thermal resistance of the provided at least part of the heat transfer path (138; 238; 338; 438) at the second cryogenic temperature is higher than the thermal resistance of the provided at least part of the heat transfer path (138; 238; 338; 438) at the first cryogenic temperature.
EFFECT: high efficiency and shorter cooling time from ambient temperatures to cryogenic temperatures.
