SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to pharmacology, and is intended for delivery of a peptide agent. The pharmaceutical depot composition for controlled-release delivery of a peptide agent comprises a combination of LHRH agonist or antagonist salts with a strong acid and with a weak acid, wherein the molar ratio (strong acid anion + weak acid anion) to LHRH is less than or equal to 2:1 and the molar ratio of the strong acid anion to the LHRH agonist or antagonist is from 1:1 to less than 2:1. The composition also comprises a biodegradable polymer and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). In other implementations, the combination includes leuprolide mesylate and leuprolide acetate, as well as leuprolide mesylate and leuprolide formate.
EFFECT: ensures controlled release of the peptide agent for a period of time up to 6 months.
