SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tool for vortex cutting of a part, comprising three or multiple three number of cutting plates, wherein each of the cutting plates has at least one cutting edge, a cutting plate holder with inserts for cutting plates for receiving one of the cutting plates, wherein sockets for cutting plates are arranged with circumferential distribution along cutting plate holder and fastening elements for cutting plates attachment in slots for cutting plates of cutting plate holder. Cutting plates comprises at least two types of cutting plates, at that, at least one cutting insert of the first type and one cutting plate of the second type are provided in the form of a group of three cutting plates located next to each other on the holder of the cutting plates, wherein the cutting plate of the first type differs from the cutting plate of the second type by its common geometry, the size of at least one cutting edge and the shape of at least one cutting edge.

EFFECT: result is longer service life of cutting plates.
