SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tool for vortex mechanical processing. Tool (10) for vortex machining of billet contains cutting inserts (14), besides, each of cutting inserts (14) contains at least one cutting edge (15). Tool comprises holder (12) of cutting inserts, which comprises seats (22) for cutting inserts for receiving and attachment with possibility of disconnection of one of cutting inserts (14) respectively. Sockets (22) for cutting inserts are arranged with distribution in circumferential direction on holder (12) of cutting inserts, wherein holder (12) of cutting inserts has through hole (34), which passes along central axis (26) of holder (12) of cutting inserts and through which possibility of passage of workpiece during processing. When in position, cutting inserts (14) protrude into through hole (34). Said tool comprises channel (38) for coolant, which is located in holder (12) of cutting inserts and extends from inlet opening (40) to outlet opening (42), note here that outlet opening (42) is fitted in through opening (34) and / or directed towards through opening (34).
EFFECT: result is reduced wear of tool cutting edges.
