METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE VIABILITY OF A GASTRIC TRANSPLANT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/26 A61B8/06 A61B8/12

Abstract RU 2698046 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, oncology and radiodiagnosis, and can be used for assessing viability of a gastric transplant. Ultrasonic Doppler sonography of the vascular main line of the gastric graft is performed after the latter is formed. Blood flow of the proximal portion of the gastric graft is quantitatively evaluated, and the rate of linear blood flow is evaluated. With its value in the proximal portion of not less than 16 mm/s, viability of the transplant is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides fast accurate and reliable value of linear blood flow velocity obtained with non-invasive ultrasonic Doppler sonography, simplified interpretation, reduced number of postoperative complications.
