A method for intraoperative cervical nerve neuromonitoring in patients with metastases of thyroid cancer involves identifying the accessory nerve and confirming its functional consistency, wherein electrical stimulation of the accessory nerve is performed and exposed to a current pulse at the beginning, during and at the end of the operation, wherein the electric stimulation is performed by inserting the needle electrodes into the trapezoid muscle at 5 and 7 cm lateral from the middle line of the back at the level of the seventh cervical vertebra, two electrodes from the analyzed side, wherein the neutral electrode is inserted into the shoulder muscle, the accessory nerve is separated during the first electrical stimulation in the area of its output from the jugular foramen, is traced to the sternocleidomastoid muscle input, performing the second electric stimulation in the external triangle of the neck, where the additional nerve passes behind the back edge of the sternocleidomastoid muscle to the trapezoid muscle, and the third electric stimulation of the additional nerve is performed at the end of the lateral cervical lymphadenectomy at the first point in the area of its exit from the jugular foramen.

EFFECT: using the invention enables rapid and accurate identification of the accessory nerve, confirming its anatomical integrity and functional integrity during lateral cervical lymphadenectomy.
