SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, head and neck surgery. Incision is made, which is performed from the mastoid downwards along the anterior surface of the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It is continued to a point of attachment of the muscle to the sternum and connected to a tracheostoma. Subcutaneous muscle is preserved on the anterior flap, and the ciliary muscle is left on the posterior flap.

EFFECT: method provides reducing intraoperative blood loss, improving wound healing, improving the aesthetic result by keeping the subcutaneous muscle on the medial flap, maintaining the nodding muscle and performing the operation from a single lateral incision along the anterior surface of Sternocleidomastoideus musculus.
