FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of non-ferrous and precious metals and can be used in separation of silvery foam components. In the method of processing silver foam by vacuum distillation, successive stages of vacuum sublimation of lead and zinc are performed during 10 hours at distillation temperature of zinc 783–1240 K and pressure of 1.33–133 Pa to obtain zinc condensate, in which content of lead and silver is 4.83⋅10-3–1.82 mol. %. Then at lead distillation temperature of 1399–1916 K - to obtain lead concentrate, in which silver content is 3.3–16.9 mol. %, and silver-containing still residue, silver content in which is 96.7–83.1 mol.%.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain sublimation products of given composition with simplification of the process of separating and concentrating the recovered components of silvery foam.
