FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of non-ferrous metals, in particular to the production of purified soft lead. The method includes a) stage (200) of the first distillation for distillation of lead from melted solder mixture (6) including lead and tin to obtain first flow (7) of concentrated lead as an upper separated product and mixture (8) of melted rough tin as the first lower product, and b) stage (700) of purification of soft lead for removal of at least one contaminating impurity selected from metals of arsenic, tin, and antimony from first flow (7) of concentrated lead obtained at stage a) (200) by processing of first flow (7) of concentrated lead at a temperature less than 600°C with first base (24) and first oxidizer (25) stronger than air, which leads to the formation of third floating slag (26) containing a metallate derivative of corresponding contaminating metal with subsequent separation of third floating slag (26) from the flow of concentrated soft lead to obtain purified soft lead (27). At the same time, third floating slag (26) from stage b) (700) contains no more than 1.0 wt.% of chlorine, preferably no more than 1.0 wt.% of halogens, in aggregate.

EFFECT: reduction in a flow rate of chemical reagents and amount of floating slag, removal of Sb, As, and Sn in the form of solid precipitates.
