FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of recording and monitoring vehicle technical condition. On-board recording device is intended for installation on automotive general purpose vehicles. Device comprises an information collection and conversion unit (1), a registration and navigation unit (2), a user interface unit (3) and automated workstation (4). Information from standard sensors of automotive equipment is transmitted to analogue-to-digital converter, obtained data are converted into digital format and transmitted to registration and navigation unit. From the registration and navigation unit, data are transmitted to the automated workstation to the operator and to the user interface unit to notify the driver when parameters exceed the maximum allowable values.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the device.
