Abstract RU 2698331 C2

FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a powder composition for inhalation for treating obstructive or inflammatory respiratory disease. Proposed is an inhalation powder composition for treating obstructive or inflammatory airway disease, comprising a mixture of a first engineered powder and a second engineered powder, wherein said first powder comprises first spray-dried particles containing one or more crystalline therapeutically active ingredients dispersed in a pharmaceutically acceptable hydrophobic excipient, where one or more active ingredients are selected from a group consisting of a long-acting β-agonist, a muscarinic antagonist and a corticosteroid; wherein said second powder comprises second spray-dried particles of a pharmaceutically acceptable hydrophobic excipient, wherein second spray-dried particles do not contain any therapeutically active ingredient; and where the first spray-dried powder and the second spray-dried powder contain the same hydrophobic excipient which is a phospholipid. Disclosed also is a method of producing an inhalable dry powder composition of spray-dried particles, wherein the method includes the steps of: preparing a first raw material, preparing a second raw material, mixing the active dry powder particles and the inactive dry powder particles to provide an inhalable dry powder composition.

EFFECT: above-described powdered composition is able to maintain its stability during storage.
