FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control system of suction pump in internal combustion engines. Disclosed are methods and systems for controlling a low pressure pump in engines with injection into intake channels and direct fuel injection. One method comprises the following step: during operation of the high pressure pump in the base pressure mode, operation of the low pressure pump in pulsed mode is provided, when pressure in the high pressure fuel ramp drops below the threshold value. Method additionally includes the following stage: during the high-pressure pump operation in the variable pressure mode the low-pressure pump operation in the pulse mode is provided in case of presence of fuel vapours at the input of the high-pressure pump.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of power consumption of suction pump, higher fuel economy.
