FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines. Engine includes an engine shaft and a piston configured to perform reciprocating movement in a cylinder chamber having an axis, each piston has the piston first part and the piston rod to move synchronously with or separately from the piston second part to set the piston strokes for the various thermal functions of the engine. Engine further includes a lever mechanism assembly having a first end connected to the motor and a second end connected to the piston rod defining the replica point, an actuator which interacts with the lever mechanism assembly and a guide cam which interacts with the guiding element of the guide cam on the lever mechanism assembly.
EFFECT: actuator and guide cam are configured to control movement of lever mechanism assembly to thereby define substantially linear movement of copying point along axis of cylinder chamber.
