FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. Piston device (100) is intended for ICE with differential piston stroke. ICE comprises one or more two-component pistons each including first and second part running in different cycles. Piston device comprises piston lever element (110) articulated with piston second part and multiple follower cams for control over said second part. Follower cams include multiple cam ledges (121a) and (121b), multiple rocker pins (122a) and (122b) arranged to turn for interaction with said cam ledges (121a) and (121b) and rocker pin axles (123a) and (123b) to be selectively displaced forward and backward. Said follower cams are selectively coupled with piston lever element (110) for control over piston second part. Invention covers the control over ICE piston second part and the design of ICE piston mechanism.

EFFECT: simplified design and decreased weight.
