FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filter element intended for use in a gas cleaning device. Filtration element (1) comprises substrate (10) and filtering layer (20) covering outer surface of substrate (10). Substrate (10) is a material for containing chemicals (30), effective for removal of gaseous pollutants from gas. Material of filtering layer (20) is hydrophilic for absorbing liquid adsorbents (30) of the solution effective for removal of gaseous pollutants from the gas, and contains a hydrophilic polymer. Outer surface of substrate (10) coated with filtering layer (20) is hydrophobic. Substrate comprises multiple channels. Channels (13, 13a, 13b) are indirect channels, that is, they are channels different from straight channels passing in one longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: technical result is efficient removal of gaseous contaminants, simplified regeneration of filter element.
