FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-molecular compounds, in particular fire-resistant copolyarylene ether ketones (FCPAEK), which can be used as heat- and heat-resistant structural polymer materials, as well as a method of producing said copolymers. Copolyarylene ether ketones have the formulas given below, in which the number of links in the polymer molecule corresponds to n = 1–9, m = 9–1. Method of producing aromatic copolyarylene ether ketones involves reacting high-temperature polycondensation 3,3',5,5'-tetrabromophenolphthalein, diphenylol propane and 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone, or 3,3',5,5'-tetrabromophenolphthalein, phenolphthalein and 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone, or 4,4'-dioxydiphenyl, 3,3',5,5'-tetrabromophenolphthalein and 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone. Reaction is carried out in N,N-dimethylacetamide medium at low optimum temperature of 170 °C. Hexabromobenzene is then added to the reaction mixture. At the end of the process, the reaction mixture is diluted with N,N-dimethylacetamide distilled off during synthesis.

EFFECT: invention increases heat-, heat-, fire-resistance and mechanical properties of copolymers.
