FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modification of zirconium dioxide both chemically pure and rare-earth elements stabilized with oxides, as a result of which a product is obtained, which can be used for making photocurable compositions based on acrylate monomers, intended for molding ceramic articles by three-dimensional printing. Modification is carried out of initial powdered zirconium dioxide with particle size of 10–1,000 nm and size of aggregates (d50) of order of 1 mcm, or stabilized 3–12 mol% of rare-earth elements from group: yttrium oxide, scandium oxide or their mixture. Modification process is carried out by mixing modifier and initial zirconium dioxide in a quantitative ratio of 0.1–10.0:99.9–90.0 (wt%), adding to the mixture an organic volatile solvent and heating the mixture while stirring at the boiling point of the solvent until uniform. Further, the reaction mass is cooled to room temperature, exposed to ultrasound for 1–2 hours, evaporated by vacuum evaporation under ultrasound and the end product is isolated in form of fine powder.
EFFECT: obtaining a modified product with output of 97 %.
