Method of analyzing organic substances in soil involves direct spectral measurement of the mass fraction of humic substances by determining the intensity of reflection of a light wave in three ranges: 1,610–1,640 cm-1, 3,300–3,500 cm-1 and 2,800–3,100 cm-1 and constructing a calibration model using multi-dimensional analysis methods based on soil spectrum obtained in the working area and presented in numerical form.

EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of measurements in field conditions.
