FIELD: manipulators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gripping device assembly. Technical result is achieved by a gripping device assembly comprising a gripping device comprising a gripping element with a gripping surface to grip and hold the tire component by suction. Gripping surface comprises multiple sections. Gripping device for each section includes vacuum channel and valve, which is located between vacuum channel of appropriate section and source of vacuum. Each valve can be individually moved into an open position and a closed position. In use, the gripping surface comprises a suction region formed of sections corresponding to the valves of which are in an open position. At that, suction area can be adjusted by means of selective transfer of multiple valves into open positions and closed positions. Besides, the gripping device assembly additionally contains a configuration tool, which in the configuration position is assembled to switch the corresponding valves into their open positions and their closed positions.
EFFECT: technical result is improved flexibility of the gripping device.
