FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in making smelting casting model on 3D printer. Components of casting model are made on 3D printer. 3D printer with an extruder having three or more degrees of freedom is used. Sections of said component parts of the model, parallel to the work table of 3D printer, are located not above the surface of said desktop of 3D printer, which eliminates the sagging of these portions of the model. On the surfaces of conjugation of the model component parts, protrusions are made in the form of pins and corresponding holes for alignment of the component parts relative to each other. Components of the model are connected by means of a connecting compound.
EFFECT: obtaining complex model for metal casting without complex pre-preparation of tooling.
