FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy of silver and can be used in separating silver from hydrochloric acid solutions during processing of leaching solutions of sulphide zinc and copper ores, concentrates, as well as other non-ferrous metallurgy. Method is carried out by extracting silver with triisobutylphosphine sulphide (Cyanex 471X) with concentration of 0.1–0.2 mol/l in a solvent in the presence of a proton-donor additive with concentration of 0.1–0.5 mol/l with ratio of volumes of organic and aqueous phases (O : A) of 1:1 for 1.0 hour. Proton-donating additive used is 4-substituted phenols or dinonylnaphthalene sulphonic acid. 4-tertbutylphenol, or 4-bromophenol, or 4-nitrophenol is used as 4-substituted phenols. Re-extraction of silver is carried out with solutions of thiourea.
EFFECT: simplification and increase of efficiency of method due to reduction of reagents consumption with preservation of high degree of silver extraction from hydrochloric acid solutions.
