FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and is aimed at improving valves operating under conditions of high temperatures and pressures and providing control of aircraft in pitch, yaw and roll planes. Disclosed is a gas flow regulator comprising a housing with inlet and outlet nozzles, a seat with uniformly arranged flow ports, installed in the outlet branch pipe, kinematically connected shutter and shaft, delivery holes are made on gate in the form of ring sector, limited by two cylindrical surfaces, centres of which are located on shaft axis, at that, dispenser supply holes are made identical to sockets of outlets, butt end of seat facing the shutter is flat, as well as gate end adjacent to it, shaft is installed in bearings, between flat surfaces of seat and gate, facing each other, there is uniform gap h, and at a distance greater than the larger radius of the shutter flow port, the annular grooves in the form of a toroidal surface are made in the cross section, balls are installed in the grooves, the diameter value of which is equal to 2(0.92…1) of grooves cross section radius, at that grooves for balls are made with same depth, equal to value H=(db-h)/2, where H is groove depth, db – diameter of the ball, h is the gap between the flat end faces of the seat and the shutter, wherein the shutter is made with a blind hole, into which the shaft enters, and shutter in relation to shaft is installed with axial clearance and kinematically connected with shaft with possibility of self-installation, maximum value of gap between ends of blind hole and gate is equal to (0.95…0.97)db.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation due to reduced value of hinge moment in a pair of shutter-seat.
