FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road and municipal engineering for cleaning roads and tracks. Device for glaze ice removal is made in the form of horizontal bearing frame, on which there are rollers freely rolling by lateral surfaces on treated ice, rollers in form of truncated cones shifted relative to each other along axes of rotation of not less than 0.1–0.3 of roller length. Rollers are arranged with large diameters outwards and mutually turned through 180 degrees in horizontal plane. Each of rollers consists of shaft with fixed on it at least two rings forming truncated cone diameters. Rings are connected to each other by uniformly located at specified distance from each other power planks, forming lateral tapered surface of roller, carrying with same pitch cutting elements.
EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of labour and material costs with maximum preservation of road surface.
