FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgery and can be used for treating bronchopleural fistulas in pulmonary pleural forms of acute purulent destructive pneumonia in children. In the lung tissue surrounding the fistula opening, gel "Urodex" is introduced with a volume sufficient for infiltration and complete closure of the edges of the external opening of the fistulous passage, at that, additional sealing is achieved by application of "Evicel" glue onto infiltrated surface.
EFFECT: method provides radical occlusion of the fistula.
