FIELD: medicine; thoracic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: thoracoscopy is performed to identify the localization of the external opening of the bronchopleural fistula. Then antiseptic treatment of the pleural cavity is performed. Under the control of a video camera, the adhesive composition is injected into the lung tissue surrounding the fistulous tract. A concentrated fibrin monomer based on the patient's own blood plasma in a solution of carbonate-bicarbonate buffer-pH10 is used as an adhesive composition. Injections of the adhesive composition into the lung tissue are carried out 1–1.5 cm deeper than the visceral pleura.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the efficiency of bronchopleural fistula obstruction, to provide reliable aerostasis, to create conditions for inflammation relief, to provide granulation processes, to improve the efficiency of proliferation and repair of cells of damaged tissues along the depth of the fistula tract.
