METHOD OF DETERMINING COORDINATES OF TARGET IN RADAR STATION WITH CONTINUOUS EMISSION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01S13/42

Abstract RU 2699240 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging and can be used in radio systems with continuous radiation to determine range, radial velocity and angular position of high-speed targets with their considerable movement during the period of modulation of the probing signal. Method of determining coordinates of a target in radar stations with continuous emission consists in probing a target with a wideband signal with linear frequency modulation (LFM), reception, amplification and demodulation of reflected signals from two spaced apart antennas at distance d, forming a set of reference signals with different chirp of LFM, multiplying each signal from the set with beat signal of one of channels, calculating complex spectra of obtained multiplication results, searching for a frequency component with a maximum amplitude in the calculated complex spectra, determining its phase ϕ1 and a position characterized by the corresponding reference signal number nc and its frequency value fRd, determination by value nc reference signal from the set and corresponding to it radial target speed , calculation by value fRd range to target , compensation of additional LFM in signal of another channel by means of multiplication by reference signal with number nc, computation of complex spectrum of compensated signal, determination of phase value ϕ2 spectral component at frequency fRd, angular target phase difference calculation Θ.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of determining spatial position of target by determining its angular position.
