FIELD: radars.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in radar stations (RLS) to determine the range and radial velocity of targets. The invention is based on an additional analysis of the deviation parameters of the secondary LFM of the beat signal at the output of the radar with a continuous LFM probing signal. The resulting estimate of the deviation of the secondary LFM makes it possible to determine the value of the Doppler shift of the beat frequency and then correct the range to the target based on it.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of monopulse measurement of the range and radial velocity of targets using a probing signal with linear frequency modulation.
