FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to means of determining a shape for calculating fractional reserve of blood flow in medical applications. Medical system for reconstructing lumen geometry during fractional blood flow reserve modelling comprises a medical instrument with the interventional deployment, a form determination system mounted on or in a medical instrument and configured to measure the shape of the medical instrument during interventional deployment and collecting shape data in a plurality of time and position positions, a visualization device mounted on or in a medical instrument and configured to render a lumen in which a display device is deployed, simultaneously with measuring the shape of the medical instrument, and a matching module configured to calculate a reference shape based on the lumen movement from the shape data for aligning the medical instrument support shape with the lumen image at a given moment in time to provide combined data which reconstruct the lumen three-dimensional geometry with allowance for lumen movement during measurement.
EFFECT: use of the invention improves the accuracy of measurements when simulating fractional reserve of blood flow.
