FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of porous materials, particularly implants, preferably of titanium alloys. Method of treating porous implants based on metal materials involves preparing a model of cellular structures and fabricating a cellular structure when exposed to fusible material by an energy source. After fabrication of cellular structure its pores are filled with liquid medium, cooled down to temperature of phase transition of medium from liquid to solid state and subject to plastic deformation. Then it is heated to temperature of phase transition of medium from solid state into liquid medium and liquid medium is removed from pores of cellular structure.
EFFECT: higher strength properties of the implant.
