FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deformable spinodal copper-nickel-tin alloys. A deformable spinodal copper-nickel-tin alloy contains 9.0-15.5 wt.% of nickel and 6.0-9.0 wt.% of tin and, after cold processing with pressure with a cold deformation degree from 50% to 75% and thermal processing at a temperature from 740°F to 850°F during a period of time from 3 minutes to 14 minutes, has a conditional fluidity limit of at least 175 thousand lbs. per sq. inch.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at an increase in the fluidity limit and moldability of the spinodal alloy.
