FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connectors made from spinned-hardened copper alloy used for connection of pump rods used in oil and gas industry. Connector for pump rod comprises spinodal-hardened copper-nickel-tin alloy containing, wt. %: from about 8 to about 20 % nickel and from about 5 to about 11 tin, the rest is copper, wherein alloy has conditional yield point at deformation of 0.2 % of at least 75 ksi, wherein connector is formed in the form of rod, having first end and second end with internal thread on each end of same size, wherein rod has channel passing through it from first end to second end, and internal thread of each end is located within the channel. Invention also relates to a rod-type column and a pump station, in which elements are connected by means of the proposed connector.

EFFECT: proposed invention is aimed at increasing of connectors resistance to repeated loads and friction wear.
