FIELD: button interfaces.
SUBSTANCE: button interface of the gear selector comprises a movable assembly supporting a plurality of push-buttons for inputting the operating mode of the vehicle. There is also a proximity sensor detecting the user's approach to the push-buttons. Actuator drives movable unit in position of use in response to detection of user approach to pressing keys in retracted position. Additionally, a display is provided, which indicates the detected position of the user relative to a plurality of pressure keys.
EFFECT: improved interface operation.
