SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a solid polyaluminoxane composition. Method comprises a step of contacting a solution of a polyaluminoxane composition (A) comprising a polyaluminoxane, a trialkylaluminium and a hydrocarbon solvent, with at least one organic compound (B) containing elements 15–17 of periodic table group, and a step for depositing a solid polyaluminoxane composition by reacting compounds with an aluminium-carbon bond present in the solution of the polyaluminoxane composition (A) with the organic compound (B) while heating. Heating is performed from 40 °C to 200 °C. Organic compound (B) is an oxygen-containing organic compound (C). Also disclosed is a method of producing a solid polyaluminoxane composition.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain solid polyaluminoxane compositions which are used as a carrier and an olefin polymerisation cocatalyst, having very low solubility in solvents, which suppresses the process of leaching polymerization catalyst components and enables to carry out the high-activity polymerisation process.
