FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method comprises: obtaining S1 information which enables wireless communication device 100 to determine whether it is stationary or substantially stationary; receiving S2 of configuration information containing information on transmission time initial moment by swept beams; determining S3 of a time point when swiping beacon transmission is to be initiated based at least in part on the obtained information and the received configuration information, thereby allowing the wireless communication device to switch to the first activity state or remain in the first activity state until said specific time point; S4 transition at said specific time instant to second activity state, in which wireless communication device is capable of receiving transmission using sweep by beams.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling possibility to receive sweep beams transmission using communication device using energy-saving operating mode.
